With over a decade of experience, patient’s comfort is what drives Dr. Vu. She realized that the biggest problem with patient retention was fear. Fear is what keeps people from going to the dentist and making sure that their smile is healthy. Because of fear, people tent to neglect their dental health, and Dr. Vu figured out early on with her work at the Marion County Health Department that comfort, attention to detail and kindness always overcomes that fear.
Paradise Dental have extensive experience working with people of all ages. Dr. Vu has worked both in the public health sector and also in the corporate sector where numbers is the only thing that matter. She quickly learned that making the patient comfortable was the key to a perfect smile.
Dr. Vu wants every single patient that sits in her chair to have a perfect smile without the fear of the procedure! Dr. Huong Vu, DDS is a board certified general dentist that graduated from Indiana University Dental School. She is a member of the ADA, IDA, and CDS.
With over ten years of experience, she is highly skilled in all areas of dentistry but is particularly passionate about healthy smiles. Dr. Vu has worked in both the Corporate and Public Health sectors of dentistry. Her specialization is with dentures and extractions but, at Paradise Dental we take on all of your dental needs. Dr. Vu’s experience working in two very different venues has given her insight in what patients need and hope to experience when visiting the dentist. In a corporate environment, Dr. Vu noticed that patients were treated as “numbers.” At Paradise Dentistry we won’t treat you like a number, you’ll be treated like family.
Fear of getting treatment comes down to a lack of knowledge, knowledge that can be avoided if the physician listens.
That is something that Dr. Vu never forgets, to listen. Explaining the procedure and making sure that all questions are answered no matter the time is critical when getting rid of fear of a certain treatment.
Dr. Vu has years of experience working with kids both as a single mother and by working at the Marion County Health Department where she almost exclusively worked with kids and pregnant women.
